ミッキー・ロークがBethesdaの新作「Rogue Warrior」の声優に

　Bethesda Softworksは，ミッキー・ローク氏を「Rogue Warrior」の声優として起用すると発表した。


　ミッキー・ローク氏といえば，「ナインハーフ」や「エンゼル・ハート」といった話題作で主役を演じた俳優で，2009年6月に日本で公開予定の「レスラー」では，ゴールデン・グローブ賞の「主演男優賞」に輝いている。

　Rogue Warriorは，アメリカ海軍特殊部隊Navy SEALSに従軍経験を持つ，Richard Marcinko氏の同名小説をベースとしたタクティカルシューティングゲームだ。プレイヤーは，Navy SEALSのエリート兵士Dick Marcinkoとなって北朝鮮へ潜入。そこで世界の軍事バランスを一挙に変えてしまうような，驚愕の事実を知ることになる。

　本作の開発元は，当初Zombie Studiosの名前が挙がっていたが，「Sniper Elite」や「Rogue Trooper」で知られるデベロッパRebellionへと変更された。
