「グランツーリスモ6」の体験版として位置付けられるPS3「GTアカデミー2013」の無料配信が決定。7月3日から30日までの期間限定

　「グランツーリスモ」シリーズのポータルサイト「グランツーリスモ・ドットコム」において，PlayStation 3用ソフト「GTアカデミー2013」の無料配信が，PlayStation Storeにて7月3日より配信されることが明らかにされた。配信は，7月30日までの期間限定となる。

　2012年5月2日に配信の始まった「GTアカデミー2012」は，「グランツーリスモ5」のゲームシステムをベースに作られた，入門用のドライビングシミュレータだった。今回配信される「GTアカデミー2013」は，タイミングを考えるとシリーズ最新作である「グランツーリスモ6」のシステムを使用した“体験版”という位置づけのソフトウェアだろう。

　なお，告知ページによれば，以下のGTアカデミー2013の開催地域に住んでいる人は，「GTアカデミー2013」のオンライン予選イベントにて，「ナショナルファイナル進出」にチャレンジできるという。
　上記地域に住んでいない人も，もちろん「GTアカデミー2013」のすべての内容を体験できるので，ぜひダウンロードして，“6”の発売に備えたいところだ。
