「The Pathless」のPS5版は2020年のホリデーシーズンに発売。「風ノ旅ビト」のアートディレクターが設立したスタジオGiant Squidの新作アドベンチャー

　インディー系開発スタジオのGiant Squidは本日（2020年8月7日）配信されたPlayStationの公式情報番組「State of Play」にて，「The Pathless」のPlayStation 5版を2020年のホリデーシーズンに発売すると発表した。


　本作は，「風ノ旅ビト」や「Flowery」（海外タイトル名は「Flower」）でアートディレクターを務めたマット・ナヴァ（Matt Nava）氏が設立し，第1弾タイトル「ABZÛ」が高い評価を受けた同スタジオが開発する，オープンワールド型の新作アドベンチャーゲーム。プレイヤーは赤い衣装に身を包んだ弓の達人であるハンターとなり，相棒となる鷲とともに世界を侵食する闇を払う旅に出る。

　PS5版のほか，PC版とPS4版のリリースが予定されており，EPIC GAMESのタイトルページによると，PC版は2020年内の発売となるようだ。パブリッシャであるAnnapurna Interactiveの公式YouTubeでは，State of Playにて披露された最新プレイムービーが公開されているので，気になる人はこちらもチェックしておこう。
