THQ Nordicのデジタルショーケースで「Destroy All Humans! 2」や「Outcast 2」「Jagged Alliance 3」などが発表

　THQ Nordicは，本日（2021年9月18日）開催したデジタルショーケースイベントで，「Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed」や「Outcast 2: A New Beginning」「MX vs ATV Legends」「SuperPower 3」「Jagged Alliance 3」「SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake」といった，新作6タイトルを発表した。

　また，「Expeditions: Rome」や「ELEX II」の続報や，新トレイラーなども公開されたので，これらを簡単に紹介していこう。

THQ Nordicが初のデジタルショーケースを9月18日に配信。新作6タイトルの発表などを予定

　THQ Nordicは本日，デジタルショーケースイベントを2021年9月18日4：00に開催すると発表した。イベント内では新作6タイトルが発表されるほか，「ELEX II」および「Expeditions: Rome」の新映像なども公開されるとのこと。また，プレショーではHandyGamesによる告知も行われる。

■「Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed」
　2020年にリリースされた「Destroy All Humans!」（PC / PS4 / Xbox One /※Switch版は2021年）に続き，「Destroy All Humans! 2」のリメイク版「Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X）が登場。前作から約10年後，1960年代のサンフランシスコやロンドン，東京，ソ連を舞台に，地球の侵略を企む宇宙人“クリプト”が，さまざまな兵器や宇宙船を駆使して破壊の限りを尽くすアクションゲームだ。

■「Outcast 2: A New Beginning」
　Appeal Studiosの22年ぶりの新作「Outcast 2: A New Beginning」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X）は，1999年にリリースされた，オープンワールドのアクションアドベンチャー「Outcast」の続編だ。
　主人公は，前作と同じ，元ネイビーSEALの隊員Cutterで，ロボットの侵略者に襲われている惑星Adelphaを守るため，惑星に住むTalan族の協力を得ながら戦っていく。

■「Expeditions: Rome」
　2021年内のリリースが予定されている「Expeditions: Rome」は，古代ローマをテーマにした，ターン制の戦略RPG。プレイヤーは，政敵に父親を殺された貴族の若者となり，逃げ出した先の軍団で名を上げながら，軍団を指揮する司令官を目指していく。
　歴史上の人物を含め，個性的なキャラクターが多数登場。物語の途中で発生する選択によって，歴史は大きく変わっていく。

■「MX vs ATV Legends」
　シリーズ最新作「MX vs ATV Legends」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X / PS4 / Xbox One）は，プロのモトクロスライダーになり，招待レースやスポンサーシップに挑戦するオフロードレースゲームだ。
　バイクのほか，四輪バギーやオフロード車も登場し，ストーリーのある実際のモトクロス競技にも参加できる。
　オンラインにも対応しており，トレイルモードでは，様々な自然環境の中を走る，チーム単位でのマルチプレイも楽しめる。

■「SuperPower 3」
　2002年にシリーズ1作目が発売された，地政学シミュレーション「SuperPower 3」。現代世界を舞台に，プレイヤーは，とある国家の政治や社会，経済，軍事をマネジメントし，その国と世界の行く末を見届けることが目的だ。前作の「SuperPower 2」は，2004年に発売されている。

■「ELEX II」
　オープンワールドRPG「ELEX II」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X / PS4 / Xbox One）は，2017年10月にリリースされた「ELEX」（PC / PS4 / Xbox One）の続編だ。物語の舞台は，前作と同じ，文明崩壊後の惑星“Magalan”で，主人公のJaxはMagalanの平和と自分の家族を守るために，各勢力に結団を呼びかけて侵略者に立ち向かっていく。

■「Jagged Alliance 3」
　傭兵部隊を率いて，さまざまなミッションに挑む，ターン制ストラテジーの「Jagged Alliance 3」（PC / PS4 / Xbox One）。2018年に，「Jagged Alliance: Rage!」（PC / PS4 / Xbox One）が発売されているが，ナンバリングタイトルとしては，1999年にリリースされた「Jagged Alliance 2」から，22年ぶりの発表となる。
　傭兵には，個性的な60人のメンバーが登場。シリーズファンにはおなじみの，イワンも登場する。
